Follow the directions during installation of this update closely. Once the file is downloaded, double-click on the file, the software will decompress and then install automatically. In the 'save as' dialogue, you will be prompted to select the folder (subdirectory) where you want the file downloaded. Make sure that PrecisionScan Pro software is closed on the remote computer before installing this update.Ĭhoose the file you want to download to your system. The error is also been noted when choosing to "send" a scan to Wordpad. This error happens most often when saving scans as PDF or RTF files. The first two "Save As" operations are successful, but the third "Save As" will bring up an "Access Violation" error.
The problem appears when selecting "Save As" after performing a remote scan. The error, and the update, only applies to the remote computer, not to the computer the scanner is attached to (the host computer).
